5G and 6G from space – why do we really need it?

Life without smartphones – absolutely unthinkable these days. Billions of people use wireless technologies multiple times a day. 5G already connects robots, machines, sensors, and devices in industry, agriculture, and medicine. Research into 6G began long ago. This panel discussion with experts from research, industry, and politics, with audience participation, will explore what innovations we can expect from 6G in space travel, what role global constellations of small satellites and artificial intelligence will play, and what impact this will have on society.
